Role requirements:

Requirements for the role vary based on what type of support services you would like to provide. At minimum, all applicants are required to have (or be willing to obtain) the following prior to starting work:

  • The right to work in Australia.
  • Double vaccination against COVID-19 or a valid medical exemption.
  • Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or Equivalent
  • WWCC(if willing to work with children)
  • First Aid Certificate

To work with Aged Care clients, you must also have:

  • A Police Check issued within the last 3 years OR
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check which is easily applied for at Service NSW.

To work with NDIS Participants, you must have:

  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check .
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Training, available for free on the NDIS Commission website.

To be eligible for additional work, applicants may also consider obtaining the following:

  • A Working with Childrens Check valid for paid work to be eligible to work with clients under the age of 18
  • An Australian drivers licence and registered and insured vehicle to be eligible to claim transport costs.

Schedule:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Penalty rates
